Rhaíssa Monteiro Pinto is a 26-year-old Brazilian photographer who is living in France. “These are analogue photos that I soak in liquids such as white wine, red wine, hot water with salt, bleach, pee, carbonate of soda, lemon, vinegar, paprika in water etc... sometimes I also use expired films and tights in front of the lens.”
Rhaíssa lived in 22 different houses, 10 different cities. “I have lost the count of how many mobile numbers I had. Recently post-graduate in film at the Sorbonne, I studied at Louis-Lumière and worked mostly with Cinematography. I keep asking myself if I should stay or should go back to Brazil.”
