Wonderful Instant Film Photography by Maxime Fardeau

Maxime Fardeau is a French photographer, living in Paris. “In 2010, I was offered a Lubitel 166+ that marked the beginning of a love story between me and the antique film cameras. I started using Polaroids a year later with a SX-70 and can't stop shooting ever since.”

Maxime shoots mostly on Polaroids. His photography is mainly about portrait, street, and nature. “What I love about Polaroids is the simplicity of the process: you point, you shoot, you see the result. No complicated settings there. Everything is about framing, composition, and how you’re going to tell your story. I like to see Polaroids like glimpses of dreams, like windows into a parallel universe.”
