Film Photography by Carlotta Cominetti

Carlotta Cominetti is a 28-year-old Italian photographer, based-in Paris. “The very first time I shot film when I was in New York with my father's old camera, a Asahi Pentax. Once back in Italy I was worried about my pictures, I didn't really know if I've made a good job or not, I was waiting for my films to come back like Christmas day. The results were unexpected and full of surprises! For the first time, light leaks and lens flare were not a problem but happy accidents, even if they were not expected.”

Carlotta shoots mostly street and people. “I understand that my old camera has a personality, and together we can travel to different places around the world.”
