Lucile Brizard is a French-Australian photographer who will start studying at Central Saint Martins in London start of September. “I started taking pictures when I found my father's Nikkormat, I really enjoyed it and I especially love taking pictures when it involves confronting the subject.”
Lucile shoots mostly street on film only. “I find street photography is extremely satisfying even if you don’t see the pictures afterwards, the exercise in itself is really fun. I never shoot digital except when I do fashion shoots because the grain is so much better with film, for example the blue of the sky looks completely different on film compared to digital. I'm inspired by Sergio Larrain and I love his approach to photography.”
