Michał Szecówka is a Poland-based photographer who is studying at Wrocław University of Technology. “Most of my photos were taken by my 6x6 medium format camera with black and white films, I develop by myself to make silver gelatin prints in my darkroom.”
For Michał, what makes him love about analogue photography is the process. “All these steps you have to make to finally hold a photo in your hand totally change your approach to photography. Every shot counts and all the decisions are yours to make-in 1,5kg Kiev 66 there’s no auto mode. For me, it makes photography real.”
