Emil MK is a Czech photographer, based-in Prague. “A couple of years ago I asked my dad if he could give me his old Pentax Super-A. My interest is in creating a poetic landscape of my surroundings, as well shaping the memories of those around me through the photographic visions of shared events. My cinephilia is a great influence on the way I see.”
Emil only uses analogue. Beside landscape, he also loves to shoot portrait combined with natural low-light to make cinematic works. “It is incomparable in rendering how light shapes space. Exploring textural possibilities that different (colour) films offer is one of my ongoing fascinations.”
