Violette Nell is a French self-taught photographer, based-in Paris. Her photographic adventure began in 2012 with a compact digital (a Nikon Coolpix), then quickly went on with a Nikon D3100. “Disappointed by the result obtained and the colours too artificial for my taste, I thought to give up. But in the meantime, I had the chance to be given a film camera. In this way, I progressively gave up digital for analogue.”
Violette is still a student. She loves to shoot portrait, especially the couple and the intimate portrait, combined closely between natural light and feelings of models. “Cinema, the 19th century, paintings, daily life, nature, my own sensitivity are my main sources of inspiration.”
