Bernd Frikke is a 32-year-old German photographer, based-in Emden. He first got into photography with a digital camera when playing in his band some years ago, but has been shooting film seriously for 3 years.
Bernd bought his first analogue camera, a Seagull 4A, on eBay. “It is a Chinese copy to the Rolleiflex. I went to a local photo-store and asked for 120mm film. They had a few and I bought one roll of Fuji Superia 400 film. The shop owner also gave me few tips about exposure. It took nearly about eight to ten weeks to shoot with twelve pictures (6x6 cm) exposed. I was really nervous about the results. Luckily I didn't do much mistakes.” And here is the result of his "first roll of film ever" he would like to share with us.
