Ethan Chiang is a Taiwanese street photographer, born and raised in Seoul, Korea, but now lives in Taipei. He first got into photography about 20 years ago with a Canon EOS film camera, and “my first roll of film was Ilford HP5, it was for my photography course in college.”
Ethan soon then has been using digital cameras for many years before has just come back to shoot on film with a Leica M6 because “I felt that my photos are soulless, I was just pressing my shutters without consciousness, I couldn't feel the connection with my objects.”
He shoots mainly street, his photos firstly look like simple, but they're all very interesting and emotional.
