Nina Ruiz is an Italian photographer, based-in between London and Italy. “Since I was a child I was always the girl behind the camera at school or at birthdays. My father had a lot of film cameras and I used to steal them.” But first shot that she took seriously at the age of 15 with an old Olympus mju II. “It's a tree in bloom surrounded by ancient Grecian ruins in my school in Greece.” She says.
Nina currently shoots mostly with 35mm and 6x6 cameras. Her photostream is a sort of diary of her last years. “I love to shoot portraits of people that are part of my life, some selfies about my everyday life in London around my neighbourhood, and places that meant a lot to me.”
