Christoph Boecken, a 32-year-old German photographer, is also a software developer based in Berlin. He started to pick up photography about 6 years ago when “buying a used DSLR at a market place because at that time I wasn't sure if it would be something I could enjoy.” But his first steps with analogue photography came two years later “with a film camera from my father and my girlfriend at that time also had a darkroom.” He says.
Christoph soon sold his digital camera later and has been stuck with film, and since then he has shot with film only. Although owning a variety of different analogue cameras (mostly medium format, some SLRs, rangefinders and point-and-shoots), the Pentax 6x7 camera is always his main equipment. He often shoots street and nature but currently he shoots mostly portrait, especially with black and white film photography.
