Chloé Maynard is a 24-year-old French photographer, based-in Paris. She first got into analogue photography at the age of 17 when “I received an Olympus OM-10 for Christmas and he quickly became one of my best friend, one of my treasure. He has been through a lot of travels and a lot of emotions with me. I learned how to capture an instant without the possibility to step back, how to handle the different formats of films, and how to develop and print photos.” She says.
Chloé shoots mostly with film and “analogue cameras for me are like toys for children. When I get a new one, I go crazy, and can't wait to test it.” She adds.
There was an interesting thing that Chloé Maynard found and bought a Kodak Brownie Starluxe camera, created in 1960, in a trade then realized that it had to work with films 127. “It was hard to find but I could order them on a website, then developed and scanned them by myself. And the result was a big satisfied surprise.” She continues and would like to share them with us below.
