"Most of my work is on film, and I have been slowly scanning it as time permits, on a very high-end drum scanner," he says. "I try to keep as much of the original image as possible, not cropping or deleting things, and tend to avoid artificially enhancing colors and sharpness to much."These wonderful photos below were taken by using a 1957 Nikon S3 and a variety of color slide films when Chris had a chance of working on a Greek freighter in summer of 1974. Chris Protopapas is a photographer based in New York City, USA. He's a Greek/Belgian who came to the United States at age 12. He got his first camera in 1974, an antique Nikon rangefinder, and have been photographing his home in New York City and the World ever since.
