"You Are Temporary" by Andrea Buzzichelli

Andrea Buzzichelli began photographing in the 1990s. Since that time he has worked on numerous photographic projects. And "You Are Temporary" is one of his photographic projects which was done with an original Polaroid 669 and a Polaroid Land camera.
"Where nature predominates, where the passage of time is almost absent, marked by the eternal alternation of seasons, man has two choices; to feel as part of the whole and let himself go with the flow of infinity, or to feel himself even more overpowered by the precariousness of being a thinking being and sensing the painful fascination of his own interior rhythm, which renders him almost extraneous to the magnificent and inexorable harmony of nature. My aim may be ambitious, but in my images, I would like for the viewer to be able to perceive the incalculable distance between the grandiose spectacle of nature and the reverent beat of a human heart in contemplation.
The use of the Polaroid offers a "rhythm" that escapes time as we understand it and this escape is inevitable."
