Cool Skateboarding Photography of the 1970's by Craig Fineman

Craig Fineman is one of surfing and skateboarding’s most influential photographers. Known for his artistic approach to photographing the burgeoning late ‘70‘s surfing and skateboarding scene, Fineman took into consideration the overall aesthetics of a photograph using unique angles and composition, intertwined with an almost architectural feel were hallmarks of his work.

Although Fineman passed away in 2003 at the age of 51, Stussy stores teamed up with Dashwood books to release a limited-edition 68-page book with never-before-seen images that showcase Fineman’s work. Here's some of his work, via Slate.
