Wedding Photography on Film by Andrew Welsh

Andrew Welsh is a digital and film photographer based in Rochester NY, USA. Andrew uses a variety of 35mm cameras, primarily the EOS-3 at weddings because it's compatible with his digital camera lenses.

He's shooting B&W mostly on 35mm, specifically Arista Premium 400 film for these images below, developed at home with D76. He also used a Bronica SQ, 80mm f/2.8 and Kodak Portra 400 on this day.
"These are images from a wedding I photographed in Hemlock and Honeoye NY, USA. I enjoy shooting film at weddings because it forces me to slow down and consider the composition and settings of the photo more. As a result I enjoy a much higher yield of good photos. Film also provides an aesthetic visual quality that I cannot attain through digital images. Shooting film also makes for interesting conversation with guests and family at weddings."
