"Stalker" by Gabriele Negri

Used an Olympus XA camera with Fomapan 400 film, Rome (Italy) based photographer Gabriele Negri shot a series of his project "Stalker" which is inspired by a Tarkovsky's movie "Stalker." They represent a journey in a decayed world where nature is the only survivor, seen by the eyes of a single person, exploring what's left of the human civilization. But he finds only empty spaces as if everything have been wiped away. And he's there, watching and remembering what he's lost. The menacing sky above him, the skeletons of the trellis, the windblown grass, seem all alien things to him, but maybe it's all about him. The last person on a world that doesn't belong to him anymore.
