Ludovica Maria Busdraghi, also known as
{L u d i c a} on Flickr, is a 20 years old photographer from Rome, Italy. Ludovica is currently a Physics student at 'La Sapienza', University of Rome, and photography is the greatest love of her life.
"I always owned a camera, since I was a little child. I am interested in every kind of photography, both digital and analog. But analog still remains my first love.
One of the things I like best about shooting film is the wide range of films I can try: one for every different purposes. I also try to modify my films, putting them in the most strange cocktails or in the dishwasher and washing machine too. Apart from getting my degree, I'd like to become a traveller photographer."
Here are five things she love about analog photography
1. Being able to feel my work. Feeling the roughness or the smoothness of the paper on which I print my photos; touching the negatives; feeling the smell of the film rolls...

2. Developing films. It is a unique feeling: it's like giving life to my work.

3. Experiments. Putting films in the most strange cocktails in order to get interesting and totally unexpected effects on the photos.

4. Collecting old films. I own a little home-made museum which includes rolls of the early 20th Century. It's amazing to have the possibility to own a part of the history of photography in my house only thanks to some shopping on eBay!

5. Film itself. I love photographic film with all its peculiarities, such as color, different kind of grain, consistency and size.
